Day 11: Scene Notes

I continued on with the scene about Café Unique.  Unfortunately, I lost over 1800 words from what I wrote on Friday, so I had to go back and rewrite those scenes, and then continue writing.

So, we are introduced to Angela at the coffee shop, along with some of the regulars at the shop.  Waiting to see who comes into the coffee shop next.

As a side note, I have a character in the scene that has experienced what I’ve been dealing with since Tuesday.  Learn more here… https://dboonenanonovels.blogspot.com/2019/11/day-five-tragic-news-makes-my-muse.html

Day 11

11.08.2019

Week 1: Character of the Week

This week’s character is Tammy Andrews.  She’s the main focus of the story so far.

She’s my protagonist.  She’s a Christian who is an idealistic optimistic.  She believes there is good in the world and that keeping a positive outlook on life is better than being negative.  She is approachable, knowledgeable, polite, family oriented, but she can be temperamental.

She does fidget and tend to be full of energy.  Curiosity and accomplishment motivates her.  She is a project manager at Globetronics, Inc.  She can even write computer code, although she doesn’t do it for a living.  Her favorite color is purple.  Her favorite candy is caramel candies, especially Werthers Originals hard candies.

In the story, she goes through a radical change.  In the beginning of the story, we see that she is troubled, but doesn’t know the trouble.  But, by the end of the story, she knows what’s troubling her and has worked to change those things in her life.

We learn a lesson about gossiping while going through Tammy’s journey.

Day 8: Scene Notes

I worked on the scene from the coffee shop.  In this scene, Café Unique is introduced, along with Tammy.  We learn a little about the place where the ladies of the story spend most of their time.
